Już gotowe! Pierwsze bombki w tym roku :)

Mój ulubiony motyw różany.

Pierwsza, mniejsza bombka – ok. 10cm średnicy.

And here they are! My first Christmas ornaments this year :)

My favourite theme for decu - roses.

First, smaller – diameter: about 10cm.

I nieco większa: 14 cm średnicy.

And the bigger one- diameter: 14 cm.

Użyte bombki to bombki akrylowe. Lubię je dużo bardziej od tych tradycyjnych (szczególnie styropianowych), ponieważ super efekt można tu osiągnąć nieporównanie szybciej. Ten, kto ma pierwsze decu-kroki za sobą, wie, ile warstw lakieru trzeba by nałożyć, żeby bombki ozdabiane tradycyjnie osiągnęły efekt podobnego „zeszklenia”.  Oczywiście można również i te bombki ozdabiać tradycyjnie -widziałam również takie przykłady, ale moim zdaniem warto wykorzystać ich potencjał i robić to jak tu – metodą odwrotną, czyli najpierw (w środku bombki) naklejamy motyw – to będzie nasz pierwszy plan, potem cieniujemy, a na koniec malujemy tło. Potem wystarczy warstwa zabezpieczająca, wszystko musi dobrze wyschnąć i sklejamy bombkę, doklejamy wstążeczkę na łączeniu połówek i gotowe! :)

I used transparent plastic craft balls – I like them very much and definitely prefer them to traditional (especially polystyrene) balls, because it takes a lot less time, work and effort to achieve this fantastic glossy effect. Of course decorating these balls traditionally is also possible - I’ve seen examples of that, but in my opinion it’s worth making use of their potential and decorate them reversing the whole process of decoration: first we glue our chosen picture (inside the ball) to the surface – it will be our foreground, then we put some shades that will merge the picture into the background and at the end - background paint and protective layer. Finally, when everything is dried properly, we glue two halves together into final bauble and at the very end we put the ribbon on the connection line to make it invisible. Done! :)
